Everyday Fantasia - This Thursday!!

At 107 Projects on Thu Nov 1, Sydney’s artistic underground will be presented as a visual fantasia by emerging curator Hollie Black and emerging charity collective the YCF. For one-night-only, the city's tagging turncoats will be playing by some of the art game’s rules.

In Everyday Fantasia, a group exhibition that features works by street artists and illustrators Aldous Massie, Alex Lehours, Andisk, Beastman, Bridge Stehli, Dale Bigeni, Daysone, Dboe, Deb, Edgarr, Faz, Gerald Leung, J'aime Fazackerley, Jo
dee Knowles, Jumbo, Kalis, KON, Nmbr19, Phil James, Pigeonboy, RJ Williams, Ronstoppable, Rotes, VarsOne, Skel, Simon Lovelace, Will Lynes and many more. The artists have taken the energy that they inject into Sydney’s streets, signage and residents’ skin, and propelled it through the doors of a new creative space.

Black wants this exhibition to be a chance for all art outsiders to get in the game – on both sides of the canvas – so the exhibition is an opportunity for the Young Centenary Foundation’s supporter network of young professionals to buy their first artwork. And we hear John Kaldor’s $35 million art collection started with a $50 painting, so it could be the start of something big.

The works will available for auction for one night only and will start at the $50 mark and climbing up from there.

On the night you’ll also find an Everyday Fantasia pop-up shop pedaling the freshest Merchandise and limited edition zines, prints and tees by Daysone, KON, Notorious & Co, Alex Lehours, Big Village Records, Phil James, Beach Burrito Company, 567 King and heaps more, with a percentage of all sales going toward the Centenary Institute.

The commission from all works sold will go directly towards funding the life-saving research of the Centenary Institute, and Ash & Andy of Death Strobe Records will keep the party moving as the pieces sell.

Our friends at Beach Burrito Company will help keep your taste buds happy on the night and there will also be an open pop-up bar thanks to event sponsors VODKA O, Cascade and Bulmers PLUS a raffle boasting prizes including a double pass to Harvest Festival, a Bondi Beach Cruisers bike, Big Village clothing and a $250 voucher to Bondi Love.
