Now Stocking WeeRide!!

Bondi Beach Cruisers are now stocking the WeeRide child bicycle seat.

The WeeRide center-mounted bike seat offers an award-winning design that makes biking with your child much safer and much more fun. It's installed onto virtually any bicycle via a patent pending, independent steel support bar that attaches between the front handle bar tube and the seat post. It provides a much more enjoyable and interactive experience for the child and rider.

It can be used with mountain/city bikes with upright handlebars (with drop-handled racing handlebars, the rider leans forward too much for the child to sit comfortably). Children should be at least 1 year old, and it has a maximum weight capacity of 40 pounds. This bike seat is designed for casual riding on smooth, flat, paved and dry surfaces free of sand, gravel or dirt. The WeeRide child seat offers an innovative riding position so the child is visible at all times and can be heard and attended to more easily. The child is provided with a more interesting view, and the weight distribution actually works to enhance the bicycle's stability. All in all, it offers enhanced safety and a more comfortable, enjoyable ride for the child.

Mama Like

One new album. One Bicycle. One banjo. One Month. One thousand miles. Erin Inglish's EARTH*BIKE*BANJO 2013 is approaching! "Mama Like" is a hilarious music video by Erin Inglish.

Erin will be cycling over 1000 miles - banjo in hand - on the coast of California to celebrate Earth Month, 2013. Over the entire month of April, she will be gigging, visiting schools, and partnering with local organizations, farms, and bicycle coalitions to promote sustainability and share music.

Ride Of My Life : The story of the bicycle

For those with an hour to spare...

Rob Penn, a writer and keen cyclist tells the story of the bicycle from it's humble beginnings and along the way builds his own 'dream bike' from his personal choice of components manufactured all around the world.

Velopresso-rolling coffee machine

This Mobile tricycle coffee machine is so well designed that you wont even need any electrical power to brew your lattes. The grinder is powered directly (mechanically) by pedalling, and the espresso machine uses a spring-lever group to draw the water from the boiler by pressure. The boiler is heated via a multi-fuel burner with bottled gas - butane- as used by campers.

This wonderful sustainable cycle is called the Velopresso it was designed and developed from the ground up by London base designers Lasse Olivia and Amos Field Reid. We just love this design and we hope to see it reach to Australian shores. Check out the video below
