The Bicycle City
One of the most uplifting ideas. We like, love and ride!
What happens to an impoverished developing nation town when you flood it with 20,000 bicycles?
You lift three times that number of people out of poverty. Pedals for Progress and founder David Schweidenback have been shipping used American bicycles to Rivas, Nicaragua for the last two decades and the transformation has been incredible.

Darlinghurst Flea Markets
This weekend Bondi Beach Cruisers will be setting up shop at the Darlinghurst Flea Markets!!
Darlinghurst Flea Markets is a local market with a difference. NO LONGER must you rise at the indecent hours provided by the A.M. to catch a sweet deal. NO LONGER must you wander through the stalls, unable to sip that sorely needed beverage. And NO LONGER must you shop to the elevator-esque background music littering our shopping centres.
We start in the afternoon!
We serve delicious drinks!
We play super-awesome music!
We've got it all, baby.
The dynamic space above Lo-Fi will be transformed into a wares-totin', drink-sippin', good-time havin' emporium of wonder and delight where you and your friends can come to wind down after a big weekend and perhaps purchase an item of wonderment.
