VELO CHIC

On our travels, we loved the diversity of people on bikes, especially in Asian countries where the number of bike riders eclipses the number of riders in Australia or other western countries. One of Bondi Beach Cruisers goal is to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy life through bicycles.
 
That's why we love this story of designer Guo-Shiung Hung who has designed a bike Velo Chic based on his research that "western country's (Australia for example) bicycle industry trends is to focus on the existing bicycle ignoring the need for non riders" through this notion he focused on female users that compared to male only makes up 25% of bicycle commuters and designed a female friendly bike.
